Factory Baseline (Street / OEM-Style Service)

These recommendations reflect a conservative street baseline. Always verify your exact model year, climate, and builder guidance.

Engine Oil (Factory Viscosity Baseline)

The GT-R is commonly serviced around a 0W-40 full synthetic baseline. If you have a built engine, follow your builder’s oil specification.

Transmission Fluid (DCT)

Use a DCT-specific fluid designed for heat and shear. This matters for clutch stability, shift consistency, and transmission longevity.

Front & Rear Differentials

A common factory baseline is 75W-140. Differential fluid selection impacts gear protection, thermal stability, and long-term durability.

Track / High-Output Recommendations

Track use increases heat load dramatically. Use what your builder recommends first. The guidelines below are common starting points.

Engine Oil (Higher Viscosity Use)

Many road course cars move to 5W-50 depending on bearing clearances and oil temperatures. Monitor oil pressure and temperature.

Transmission Fluid (DCT)

High temperatures accelerate shear and oxidation. Shorten service intervals if the car sees repeated high-heat cycles.

Front & Rear Differentials

Under sustained heat load, 75W-140 remains a common high-performance baseline for gear protection.
